Formerly homeless mom has unbelievable change of fortune and it’s only getting better

Timmera and her son Neico

Timmera Greene spent years homeless, crashing on couches as she tried to stay close to her son Neico. Two years ago she finally moved into a home unfortunately she was squatting in an abandoned house. Now thanks to a Tax Lien Investor her fortunes may be changing.

Last fall Neico Greene, 19, and his 38-year-old mom were praised by none other than President Barack Obama in a speech about education policy at North High School in Des Moines. Neico is a 2015 North graduate who was a star basketball guard and just wrapped up his freshman year at Graceland University in Lamoni.

This spring a tax lien investor who had purchased a lien on the property had started the foreclosure process. When this investor read about Timmera and her son he realized he was in a unique situation to help. He reached out to Timmera and committed to her that if he received the home in the foreclosure auction he would sell it to her for just his initial investment of just $4,500.

As tax lien investors we are in a unique situation to not only make a great profit but also help people.
